Definitely find yourself a B20 ... preferably a B20E which is an injected model. Block the injector ports, and generally has a better designed and higher compression head... bigger valves. When I built Old Reliable' motor .. I had been given a STREET TORQUE cam ... but doing it again, I would look for something else with a newer lobe design. The two cams IPD carry are ISKY grinds and the designs are REALLY dated and you will find some much better ones available out there. Be sure to have hardened seats installed as these engines were designed for leaded fuel. If you are using the heads without having the valves done you can get away with it because the seats will have hardened over the years ... however as soon as you cut into them you lose that surface. You might want to have a look at the specs of the MPPE motor that is talked about and designed by one of the members of this Board.

Good luck .... and especially good luck with the Metal Moth damage :-)
