Yup, the only way I've seen more power come out of an engine is to efficiently burn more fuel. The guys and gals at T-bricks had that figured out, obviously, long ago, and that is why they do the engine mods to support it. It does make for a pretty snappy little 240 series with 250+ rear wheel hp!
