The header thats on there looks like an old tri Y type design. The center 2 exhaust ports are siamesed then goes into 2 pipes and a very short collector with 2 hole flange, am wodering if its any good or what to use.
Are you saying you have a tubular version of the stock dual downpipe iron exhaust manifold? Can you take some pics?
The stock iron dual downpipe manifold works perfectly for 99% of applications, the only real benefit of an all tube tri-Y is to save weight on a race car. On stock to mild B20B's, the Skandik 2" exhaust is probably all you need. After some professional head work, a 2.25" or 2.5" exhaust with a modified engine pipe is good. For headers to actually increase power, you need a pair of 45mm DCOE's, a big cam & a great head. There is a race 4-1 header available for ITB 142 B20E racers, but it concentrates power in the 5000-7000 rpm range.
