Hey Klaus I have pics of the bottom, but they are too blurry to make anything out.

I found this write up by a UC Berkley prof on a waterproof system:

Volvos get more interested every day.

Soon the car will be a bare shell. I want to mend and repair some rust in the floor and spare tire well, pull the dash and front glass so I can see how rusted out the windshield area is behind the dash...

Then modern wiring!
