The loud noise is usually caused by a slipping belt. This happens most often a full lock, when the PS pump is working the hardest.
If it squeeks every time you turn the wheel, get a new belt.
Have you flushed the PS fluid yet?

If your steering is loose, park the car and call a tow truck.
