Coolant in the cabin 120-130

I am positive it is coming from the bottom of the box, and positive it is coolant.

But I am not in too bad of shape. I actually have 2 extra cores. Is there a way I can test one before I put it in? So as to make sure it does not leak as well.

The irony is I swapped the heater box about a month ago. The old one was all rusted out. I replace all seals and hoses, but I guess I should have replaced the core as well.
