Verify by jumping the brake light signal between the blu/red and blu/black...

That info would be correct for a 91, but the 92/93 diagram has the blu/black wire for the high-mounted brake light (pin 5 on the sensor relay) as brown/black. The diagram posted earlier in the thread matches the 1992 color designation. Sorry for any lost hair.
