Some of you may have missed this... 444-544

I've heard the same... both counts.. firstly, that there were a limited number of trucks produced. I don't think Volvo made them though.. I think they were 445 chassis that were modified by an independent company, then perhaps sold through dealer networks, not unlike the Volvoville 1800 dropheads. I've never seen any claimed to be original that were based on P210, but maybe they are out there...

And yes.. I have heard that about the Swedish 'tractor' or truck laws.. one of which was that one could legally drive a work truck at a very young age.. something like 12 or 14, among other things.. .so, yea.. I would have turned my 122 wagon into a truck at that age if I'd had to :-)
