OP back. Problem solved . Thanks to all for your help & advice. What I did is repace PS pump belt and I tightened it more then it had been. It now has just about 1/4" play whereas old belt had about 1/2" play. Purposely drove thru deep puddles this yesterday & Today and no longer do I get steering loss. Guess it either needed a new belt or belt to be tighter. Sure glad it was not harmonic balancer. That would have beeen a much costlier and involved job. Again many thanks.
