pressure regulator 140-160

Hello,

It all depends on how the control pressure regulator failed.

It can get stuck with the control pressure stuck high which means low fuel pressure to the fuel distributor and thus a lean condition.

Or the control pressure can get stuck with the control pressure being low which will mean high pressure to the fuel distributor and thus a rich condition.

You really need to use a proper fuel injection pressure tester to monitor the control pressure regulator.

The correct fuel pressure tester will have a ball valve to block the return pressure so you can check "dead head" fuel pressure.
