delayed reverse when cold, any ideas? 200 1985

I have been using Amsoil ATF in my Volvos since 1989, when I bought my first one. I change it out every 75,000 mi., (normal service life is 100,000 mi., and 50,000 mi. for severe service) and have had no issues with it in any of my three cars that were automatics. The change to synthetic may or may not cure your shifting issues, but this synthetic ATF is compatible with all seals. This ATF will put up with a lot of heat as well, which may be at least as handy, looking at your location.
