diagnostic connector location

There is no diagnostic connection. This is OBD-1, and the reader is built-in to the car. Open the hood, and look for a small black box with a lid near the drivers-side strut tower. Then read:

If it is a Turbo car, there is no OBD system. But I would assume that if you're asking about codes, you have a glowing Check Engine light, and therefore have a non-turbo car.
