940 NA Locker diff ratio 700 1989

Okay, so I found a NA 93' 940. 243k. Tires are new, rims are alloy. (which is why I'll probably buy it) The miles are a bit of a concern, because who knows how well it was treated. Other concerns: My current 740 is likely to have the 3.73 gears, whereas the 940 is likely to have a locking 4.10. Concern there is fuel economy, and how much that will affect it. I could run some taller tires in the rear at least, to try and even that out. That would probably throw of my speedo considerably. Other concern is wether the tone ring for the speedo/abs has the same number of holes. I want to drop this one's axle, and swap it to mine as a whole axle. Another thought is that of driveshaft length. Are the driveshafts on the sedans longer or shorter than the wagon? I have a wagon and this is a sedan.
My car is a daily driver, so it can't be up on jack stands in the garage for too long. She won't let me drive her car for more than a day!
Thanks for everyone's help and input.
B
