Interior light problem 200

The driver's door switch uses two circuits, one for the chime, the other for the dome light. The switches are terribly undependable once the rubber boot gets dried out.

Also, in "upscale" trim levels, the dome light has a timer between the door switches and the light, so there's a third trouble spot if you count the switch on the dome light itself as #1. The timer looks like a fluorescent starter and is clipped to the brake pedal frame when they build the car.
