Does this look likes time to replace the ignition key switch? 700 1991

good point

I had a 91 940 with no warning lights going on. the battery wound not charge until reving to 1200 rpm.

I could not pass smog b/c the check light would not come on and go out.

I heated all the solder points on the circuit board per faq session.

It all worked then!

To see if the board has some loose connx, try removing the cluster but keep it connected to the wiring harness. just hold the cluster on a slight diagonal over the steering housing. Put the the key in KPII and reach you hand in behind the back of the cluster and tap the circuit board all around and see if the lights go on or off -- if yes you got a loose solder point
