Hi all,
In rechecking EVERYTHING the positive battery terminal was at fault. One of the bolts had stripped (I know I should have replaced it when I bought the car) and not enough juice was getting to the starter. At least I have a new 2 year warranty starter. After replacing the cheap terminal with another cheap one I had, it fired right up.

Always check the basics! Which I thought I had done earlier. Next time I will check the basics 2x.
