I've not found any source of brake rotors (or drums, for that matter) other than Volvo suppliers.
Cost seems pretty uniform around $250 per corner for stock replacement.
Pads (and shoes) are cheap by comparison. I think the softest, gummiest, fastest-wearing pads and shoes would be good, to prolong the life of the rotors and drums.
Maybe cryo-treatment of rotors and drums to prolong them also?
Still, all of it is quite inexpensive compared to a Porsche part. I think one can find a nice, complete Amazon for less than 1 Porsce ceramic rotor.
Volvo brakes have been on my mind a lot the last few months.
