Removing Panel

I drive a 1991 240 sedan. Is it possible to remove the panel separating the trunk from the rear passenger compartment and if so, how difficult a project would it be. I noticed there are clips on the trunk side which secure it to the body and I could not find any info in the manual. Thanks for any suggestions, advice, assistance.
