HID Conversion vs E codes 200

Yow.

HID's into E-codes is bad enough, but HID's into the stock North American 240 9004 headlamps, would probably be the worst thing you could do. Just huge amounts of glare and backscatter.

Used original or New Aftermarket E-codes are about the same price. The Volvo/Cibie assemblies are a better fit and have better optics. Though, the aftermarket ones are easier to get.

Definitely do the relay/wiring upgrade thing. It's worth it.

We run high-efficiency H4's... slightly over-wattage... on our 240's. Pretty amazing upgrade.

By far, the best automotive lighting info on the web is on Dan Stern's site (danielsternlighting.com).
