In addition to what others said..

It's likely you're just wasting money by getting the highest octane you can get... if it doesn't ping on low octane, you don't need better.

Driven as little as you do, that gas in the tank is probably old.. even old high octane gas will knock and ping make your car behave in a variety of unpleasant ways..

You gotta get out and drive it!
