getting it back on isn't too bad with both index fingers spinning the bolt, one from each side of the head. It helps to be 6 ft 4 in tall with an 84 in reach tho. :)
I use a telescoping magnetic pick-up tool to lower the bolt into position from above. Also a 1/4 drive ratchet with long extension and swivel works well for loosening/ tightening the bolt. It usually takes less than 10 min.
