Buzzy idle 700 1990

The 1990 745 GL that we just bought buzzes when it is idling in gear. When shifted to Neutral or Park, it smooths out. Is this possibly due to a slightly low idle? Our 1991 sometimes idles low, but does not buzz.

Any ideas or suggestions?

I probably should do a compression test or something, but at the moment, it drives and runs very well, and I am worn out from two weeks of urgent/emergency problems rearing their heads. Besides, when the 1991 blew a head gasket, it was nothing like an even buzz, but a clearly uneven, shaking and thrashing vibration.
