finally got the 56 on the road! 444-544 1956

Welcome back to the road where you belong. The thing that is hard to explain to others is how just driving an older car can make you feel great! Just doing it feels good. I'm smiling all the time in my '56 and drive it just for the fun of it. Real fun for a guy born in the '50's I guess is different but driving an old car is a thrill. I will be parking my '56 for about 6 weeks now. Been driving it as a daily driver since 2006 while my 1800ES's have sitting in the garage. But there is another meeting in California in April and since I took the '56 last time the 1800 will be stretching it's legs this time. I aired up the tires and today I'll be making sure it's ready. Part of that is to move my support bins into the new ride. By support bins I mean a couple of boxes of parts and tools that give me the confidence I can actually make a trip like that. Funny thing is the '56 and the 1800 are virtually the same car with different bodies. A built B20.... T5 and Mikuni's on top of a set of Virgo wheels. Below is a picture from around 2000 with Virgil the Volvo (1960 pv 544) Vito is a "rebody" of Virgil
