Are you saying it is stuck in the vent position?

Is either of those switches relatively brand new?

I don't think your motor is bad since it moves in one direction. If I recall, the switch changes the polarity of the 12VDC so the motor moves in the opposite direction.

The sunroof is in a metal tray that is isolated from the sagging headliner.

I would look at cleaning the switches/connections.
