A/C bypass for 89 240?

It's a problem b/c the Power Steering pump is driven off the A/C pulley, not directly off the crank pulley. You would need to shim the pump mounting to move it enough to run the P/S directly off the crank pulley. There is no elegant way to do that.

Earlier cars have a bolt-on P/S pulley, which allows for the mounting of a spacer. Later pumps have a press-on pulley, which does not.
