Recently had a similar problem with my 93 850. Keep trying, it will start. Do you have at least 3-4 gallons in it now? Sometimes you need that much to get it started after running out of gas.

Make sure all the electronics are good.

I agree with Jim, it could be crud. Before going into the gas tank (PITA job), throw some fuel system cleaner in the tank and change the fuel filter.
