Solved it 200 1988

I just figured out the problem: the big hose attaches into the air flow sensor housing, under the throttle body and bellows that it sits on (my Volvo is among the last of the CI/K-jet injection Volvos). I attached the new hose and flame trap, started it up, and have some suction at the oil filler cap. Yay.
