slow starting after sitting, B230FT

My 91 940 B230 FT with 270,000km is slow starting after sitting overnight or for periods over an hour or two. It cranks maybe 10 times before starting. Upon restarting within a half hour however, it starts immediately. It is like I am losing fuel pressure in the line, although that is just my layman's guess. Does anyone have any suggestions as to what the problem might be?
