Are you looking for a heater repair or a thermostat repair?

The thermostat does not fit into any pipe. It drops into the head with a housing over it that connects to the upper radiator hose. It is very important that you use a proper thermostat. Function wise, not just temperature.

As for a repair kit for a heater control valve, here is the part number of a repair kit: NAPA 660-1000
