Thank you David! This tells me what I need to know. BTW, it's an '85 740 w/M46 I am trying to make a decent car out of... Wiring is not too bad overall but the Hall wire had been patched up very poorly so I got a wire from another car... My car suffered from intermittent stalls-I figured the Hall wire was a good suspect.
