leaking Master Cylinder, 940

Chris; Thanks for your reply. Yes the spouts on two reservoir are tapers to ease installation. As for lubrication, I ensured that I lathered the grommet, the M/C ports and the reservoir with fresh brake fluid prior to asembly. I just can't figure out why it is still leaking; I have done this on many old Volvos with no problem at all. The leak is not major by any means, but there is always a drop of fluid evident under the body of the M/C within ten minutes of wiping it clean.
In thinking about it, assemby order must be, first place the grommets in the M/C, then insert the reservoir into the installed grommets. It would be impossible to push the reservoir with fitted grommets into the M/C, as the grommets would be "pre-expanded" by the reservoir, and would not push into the M/C.
Maybe I will have to wind up buying a whole new M/C. Rats.
