the dreaded code 1-1-3 200 1989

If it is running rich, I'd check the O2 sensor. I think, as they age or go bad they put out less voltage. A low voltage is interpreted as a lean condition and the computer compensates by putting in more fuel.

A rewired Mustang sensor can be used in place of a $Volvo one.

(Note: I'm not really familiar with LH2.4, just had one on my driveway for awhile.)
