Choke wire question 120-130

The B16s had a single cable that pulls on two long levers on the carbs., I have not seen a 'twist and lock" type pull on a Volvo myself, most had a pull with a rack of "teeth" on one side of the shaft that you could rotate the pull knob to engage and hold things in position.
If you just had the H4s rebuilt there is a possibility that the cork glan type seals have seized on the brass jet body and won't allow them to move. This is not uncommon with some kits and one of the reasons I use PTFE (Teflon)seals in this area. With new seals the jets tend to stick open (down) as well as closed (up) too!

Cheers!
