The book figure for the M41 oil is 3.38 US Pints. This is for a dry box. If you drain the box there is some left in the OD so just top it back to the plug. Recheck after a few miles. Check all of the bolts that hold the OD and adaptor to the gearbox. Not unusual for them to loosen off and then you will get leaks.
Leaks from the clutch area usually indicates a bad rear main bearing oil seal.
