I have to ask . . . which plug wire IS the "#1" after all? Logic tells me it's the front-most or the back-most, and not one in the middle. With the pointer at "0" on the crank pullery (TDC) my distributor points almost exactly to the plug wire that runs to the rear-most cylinder . . . so this is where I have checked and set timing based on? Correct? Incorrect?

This is seriously one of those "I feel really dumb for having to ask" things.
