Those are all really good points.
I guess I'm wondering weather an increase in temperature, when driving on the highway, is normal.
I know the 242 doesn't have a TCB but I figure there are more people who have made that modification than drive the older 240's at this point.
Anyway, I did the TCB delete mod to my 245 last night and today the needle sits in the middle whether on the highway of in traffic. The 242's needle rises on the highway.
I'd like to think this is normal, but I think the radiator may be on it's way out. :-)
Like you said though, the most important thing is to make sure it's not overheating. But even if it's not over heating, isn't it better for it to run at the proper temperature?
I just replaced the 87c thermo with another 87c thermo this past weekend.
