If you mount that on the drivers inner fender it wont be in the way so much. Also, (just my .02) the type coupler in the line from the servo is asking for trouble!
The photo shows where the original went with the bracket that attaches to the fender. Brackets should be fairly easy to come by and to modify to hold a Lockheed unit.
