Bushing problem 200 1981

We've torqued the front a arm bushings and the clunks are gone. Its hard to get a true torque value on the rear a-arm bushing because you're supposed to torque it after you get the bracket on and torqued. So, you get a feel for what 40 ft lbs should be and go at it. It won't hurt to put some thread locker on it(blue not red). But be careful on the bracket bolts. They go into a nut welded on the back side of body steel and it would be quite easy to strip one out. I know, we just did it. Stay with 30 foot pounds and use the blue thread locker. The big trailing arm bushing is around 80 foot pounds so go at it.
