How to replace AC compressor on 960 900

AC stuff is pretty new to me so I am looking for any help I can get on replacing a bad AC compressor on a 1996 960 wagon. Right now I know that I need to get a new drier and expansion valve. First issue is that I do not know where the expansion valve is. Second question is if I need to use special Volvo seal rings or if I can use those at my local auto shop. Lastly what kind of oil do I use for the compressor and where can I get it?
