My question is about the surface/surfaces to apply Radio Shack heat sink grease as preventative maintenance. My power stage is mounted on the fender.It is a two piece, metal housing mounted to a porcelain plate which mounts to the fender. Obviously I will place the grease between the porcelain and the fender but is it a good idea to removed the power stage from the porcelain plate and place a layer of grease between those surfaces as well?
