Spark Plug Question 200 1988

Having had some VERY bad times with spark plugs, I recommend not using anti-seize.

DO NOT use oil, and DO NOT EVER try to remove plugs from an ever warm engine.

I've had to put a thread-saver into my #1 plug space.

Oil will screw up the tightening torque, and should never be used in any spark plugs, I don't care what haynes, bentley, or God says.

Also anti-seize is ok to use, but isn't the worst thing you could do. It can lubricate like oil and alter the torque spec. I would recommend cleaning your threads with a toothbrush and alcohol, then using bare threads.

Happy bricking
