Broken exhaust stud delemma.

I've had some success by inserting a short piece of steel tubing into the manifold hole and using it as a sort of drill guide to keep the drill centered on the broken stud. However, if the center of the manifold hole isn't in line with the center of the stud, this becomes a bit more difficult - you then start looking for ways to shim the tubing off to one side or the other.
