How does a FPR usually fail?

How did you know the old one failed? Is the fuel smell fresh?

Usually they fail by giving the injectors full pressure all the time. Often they leak large quantities of fuel out the vacuum port.
What if you put the old one back on? Could the vacuum line be leaking and simply pulling low vacuum?

If I recall correctly, higher voltage means more oxygen present.
Can you measure the fuel pressure?
