Art,

I have personnally done the swap. Put a g80 from a 1993 into a 1990. To get the speedometer to work in the 1990 with a 1993 I had to use the instrument cluster and speedometer from the 1993. The 1993 speedo doesn't fit on the 1990 cluster. Needed to take the plastic bulb indicator strips from 1990 so all the lights have the correct information. The last key change is to swap Pin 1 and 2 on connector 233( the "L speedo connector") I did this a couple of years ago and at that time there was no information about it. It looks like the lower diagram is correct for the 1990 and the upper the 1993. Easier to see then on the pages of the Bentley I listed.
