220 engine replacement 120-130

Hi,

Yes, I would increase the compression. It has been shown to increase efficiency and power when using more stable fuels. As a result, you can burn less fuel for the same power, which is important because ethanol has less energy per gallon.

Also, it might be worthwhile to build it with tight squish for even more power, stability, and efficiency.

Painting the engine bay is worthwhile because it can extend the life of the base metal in corrosive conditions, but I think it looks nice also. Remember, it is not about how quick you finish something. Think about the bedroom. It's how you get there and the pleasure you take along the way. Maybe the younger haven't learned that yet?
