The reality is that it is far easier to drive an appliance.
One that does everything for us.
Maps our routes, opens our windows and entertains our children.

For the most part:
Gone are those that crank windows.
And use maps, let alone shift for themselves.

Without bitter, there is no sweet.
For us romantics, we need a little challenge, pain
and grease under our fingernails to feel love.
