fuel in motor oil? 700 1991

Hello All-

I was checking the oil level today and noticed that the oil on the dipstick smelled like fuel. I had the radio suppression relay replaced last month due to cranking but no-start.
I'm concerned. I have to take the car to a job interview first thing on 12/27(30 mi. round trip)...will that be OK given the condition of the motor oil?

Checked the FAQs, but wanted to post here as well in case there's anything I might be missing.

Needless to say, I'm taking the car back on Monday after my interview, but I wanted to know what could be causing fuel to leak into the motor oil. Unsettling, to be sure.
