I moved the battery in my 122 to the trunk - not for weight balance (though that's probably reason enough), but because of space constraints. Lots of local auto parts stores have the bits you'd need, though I bought a "trunk relocation kit" from Summit that included the box and 20 ft of battery cable. Cost was around $25 4 or 5 years ago versus almost twice that in the local shops.
