My 142 starts up at the slightest key turn in the morning when cold. After say 20 minutes of highway driving, or even round town for that matter, it doesn't want to fire up. It does after many many cranks, but my patience with it is borderline obsessive.
Its a b18 with a Weber on it (I know, I know, weber this SU that... but its whats on there). I read up on heat soak and have decided it to be the likely cause... just wanted to see if there are any other suggestions before i start on that route. The coolant was/is not routed through the manifold... would that cause this condition? Worth putting heat wrap on the headers?
