I respectfully submit that your girlfriend is irritated at the prospect of having to compete with the engine roar for centr stage and audibly resents it. Most ladies I know or have known really do like to be able to speak and be heard easily. ( and speak, and speak, etc.) Also, it is a rare woman indeed who really cares about rpms and blowing but maybe you have found that rare gem and if so, hang on to her and live life with a true partner with whom life will be bliss.....kind of.
